Montepulciano is one of the most drinkable, versatile red wine grapes of Italy. Coming from the eastern shores of the boot, this Che Fico is balanced, smooth and rustic with notes of cherry and plum that have integrated earthiness and herbaceousness. It's an Italian vacation in a bottle!
Pairs well with spaghetti & meatballs, pizza night, and charcuterie.

THE STORY:
- Che Fico. You say it, “KAY-fee-koh,” and it’s Italian for “How Cool!”
HOW ITS MADE:
- Sourced from vines up to 30 years old from a cooperative of several small, family farms
- Harvested in the morning by hand to maximize natural freshness of the grapes, macerated and then fermented in stainless-steel tanks
- Wine was aged in both cement and stainless-steel tanks before bottling.
