Fans of big California red blends are going to flip over this big, burly blend from the Sicilian coast. Grown just a mile from the Mediterranean, it combines Syrah with the native Nero d'Avola to create a structured, fruit-forward wine of black fruit and spice that will keep you warm all winter.
Pairs well with hearty soups, spaghetti & meatballs, and steak.

THE STORY

HOW ITS MADE
- Harvested from 20-year-old vines right on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea
- After pressing, the grape juice is fermented in closed-top, stainless-steel tanks for 16 days.
- After fermentation with native yeast, the wine is aged for 6 months in stainless-steel before bottling.
