We never met a dog we didn’t love. With their wet kisses, wagging tails and the unconditional way they welcome you with excitement, a dog always knows how to make everyone feel like family. You’ll likely find one of these gregarious greeters in the vineyard, delighting workers and visitors alike. This wine is dedicated to our own beloved winery dog, Pip, and we hope it brings you as much joy as she brings to our family.
For this wine, grapes were harvested from vines planted up to 25 years ago in California. After harvest, the grapes were destemmed, pressed and placed in stainless steel tanks to ferment. The wine then aged in stainless steel until bottling, unfined and lightly filtered.
DID YOU KNOW? Colombard is a varietal originally used to make brandy. While still used that way today, it’s also now being used in traditional winemaking. Colombard makes for fresh, approachable wines that have the acidity of Sauvignon Blanc and the texture of Chardonnay.
