You may have never met a Pinot that keeps you coming back for more the way this latest vintage of Nest Pinot Noir does. From Monterey County, this wine is a single-vineyard stunner that’s a perfect mix of fresh, juicy fruit, bright acidity, and silky tannins. Very versatile and easy to drink, you’ll find this small-production Pinot a perfect pairing with any situation.
Consider the unique significance of a bird nest. Though its hodgepodge appearance and construction typically comprise naturally unremarkable items like twigs, leaves, and dirt, a nest’s presence in a vineyard is coveted by most farmers as evidence of something much more magnificent: Health, growth, and a flourishing ecosystem. A nest, after all, is a place for warmth. For love. For happy chirps, for first flights, and for family. We created Nest to celebrate the comfort of home, the power of growth, and the splendor of nature’s little miracles.
For this Pinot Noir, grapes were hand-harvested from vines in Monterey County, California. After harvest, the grapes for this wine were fermented in stainless steel tanks for 2 weeks before moving to a mix of oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks to age for 8 months before bottling.
DID YOU KNOW? Pinot Noir is a thin-skinned red grape that doesn’t provide a lot of color of high tannins. In cool climates, like Monterey, Pinot Noir does well because of the coastal influence.
