Talk about a parfait. This beautiful, complex, and fruity white wine has a little bit of something for everyone. This new vintage is based in Sauvignon Blanc, adding striking, crisp flavors of peach and lemon. The remaining parts of this wine are based in a Rhone-style blend, with several classic grapes in this style that contribute layers of yellow apple, lemon curd, and honeysuckle. This is a juicy, zippy wine at an incredible value!
Consider the unique significance of a bird nest. Though its hodgepodge appearance and construction typically comprise naturally unremarkable items like twigs, leaves and dirt, a nest’s presence in a vineyard is coveted by most farmers as evidence of something much more magnificent: Health, growth, and a flourishing ecosystem. A nest, after all, is a place for warmth. For love. For happy chirps, for first flights and for family. We created Nest to celebrate the comfort of home, the power of growth and the splendor of nature’s little miracles.
The origin of this white blend comes from 24–30-year-old vines in the Dry Creek Valley of California. All grapes were hand-harvested, destemmed and pressed before fermentation and further aging. The Sauvignon Blanc and Grenache Blanc were fermented and aged in stainless-steel tanks. The Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Marsanne were pressed with some whole clusters for extra texture before being fermented and aged in French oak barrels. Once aging was finalized, the wine was blended unfined and unfiltered before bottling.

Blending is incredibly important to the Clean-Crafted Commitment®! Instead of using different additives, our winemaking team uses different grape varieties to create layered, beautiful and delicious wines. Each of these grape varieties create a full, complete wine that has a balance of fruit, acidity and structure that all enhance each other - like a great chili or pasta sauce!
